Birds and worms aside, the Skydiver Training Program student who checks in early definitely gets the jumps. Aside from just having more time in the day to skydive, there are a number of other benefits to early morning check-ins:
- Winds are usually lower.
- Wind conditions are usually less turbulent.
- Temperatures are cooler.
- You get on the schedule early and can plan out your jump day before the sleep-ins.
- You are more likely to have a dedicated instructor for the day (later check-ins may have to share if we’re busy).
- More time to complete your desired number of jumps for the day.
The office opens at 8 a.m. on weekdays and 7:30 a.m. on weekends. Have a great day and we hope to see you bright and early at Spaceland!
Do you guys have a payment plan for the program?
Yes Scott we do. We allow students to pay for each jump as they are able to pay. The pricing structure for this is $150 per jump. It is a great alternative and a great deal when you consider EVERY jump comes with a video you can take home.
When you’re part of the skydiver learning program does a person have to pay for each jump or is it included in the total price of the program?
Hi Karl, When you buy the package you get all the STP jumps included for that price. You always have the option of buying each jump one at a time as well. Please feel free to call us at 281-369-3337 any time with questions.

Is the included video for each jump taken documented by a videographer, such as the video you get with tandem skydives?
I think I just got my answer. I see the program mentions filming is done by your personal instructor. I assume it’s a close range video?
Hi Sherry! Yes, your instructor will have a GoPro or similar wide-angle camera mounted on his/her helmet.
