Thank you for your interest in holding a skydiving event at Skydive Spaceland Houston! We receive a lot of requests about holding events here, so here’s the scoop on working with us to host a successful event.
All jumpers must have a current waiver on file before they can jump at Spaceland. Each Skydive Spaceland drop zone requires a current waiver on file for that drop zone. The online waiver can be found here
Refer to This link for much more information for visiting skydivers
No-registration events
Bring your group and have a great time! We will provide a free organizer slot for groups with at least 20 paying slots. Talk to manifest when you arrive at the DZ. If possible, communicate ahead of time via email with manifest – manifesthou@skydivespaceland.com – to give them a heads up (number of jumpers, number of jumps you expect to make, etc). The more we know, the better we can serve you!
Registration-based events
If you are using our facility and operations to run a for-profit event, and/or you need a guarantee of aircraft priority and administrative support, please put together a proposal with the following information. Note that Spaceland can provide one free organizer or video slot per full aircraft (at least 20 full paying slots). The event organizer must attend a safety briefing with drop zone management and pilots.
Please fill out this form as far in advance of your event as possible. You’ll be providing us with information (such as listed below) that will help us better serve you and your event.
- We need to know the registration fee only if we are collecting the registration fee for you. Many organizers prefer to collect the money themselves. If you collect the registration payments, we ask that you provide us with a list of participants at least 7 days prior to the event start date, so that we can verify USPA membership status, if they have a current waiver on file, and their reserve repack date.
- If you would like for us to set up the registration link, please let us know the payment structure and amount(s). Will there be a deposit or is full payment required ? Will the payment be refundable prior to the start of the event? If so, is there a deadline for when a refund is possible? We do charge a $20/person administrative/facility support fee if we collect registration payments.
- Any additional services you’d like us to handle (meals, videographers, etc.) and proposed fee structure to cover them. Please contact operationsdirector@SkydiveSpaceland.com to request rates for additional services.
- Refund policy in case all jumps are not made (we can handle refunds if we have collected your event fees up front)
- If you will have more than 23 jumpers, we will need to have another aircraft on hand to support your group. Expect to pay a nonrefundable fee at least 30 days prior to the event in order for us to bring an extra aircraft here (fee will vary by aircraft and situation). Please contact operationsdirector@skydivespaceland.com to request information on our aircraft’s minimum fees. If jump formation plus videographers exceeds 44 jumpers, please give us as much advance notice as possible. No less than nine months is recommended.
- Video debriefs: We have limited video debrief equipment that may be available for your event’s use. Please contact Stephen@SkydiveSpaceland.com to discuss this.
- Standard jump ticket rates of $30 per slot to 14,000 feet will apply to your group. If you will require multiple aircraft flying in formation or oxygen for higher-altitude jumps, please see the extra fee schedule below.
- Oxygen: Contact eventsdirector@skydivespaceland.com to get the oxygen cost, which will depend on the number of jumps you are planning and to what altitude. O2 payment is required at least 7 days prior to the start of the event.
- Extra altitude: $1 per person, per 1000 feet above 14,000 feet
- Formation flights: $2 per person, per jump
Note: Prices are subject to change based on fuel costs.
